Goals and Objectives

Objective #1 -- Bring International Artists to Teach and Perform Their Own Traditional Arts

• Host artists to bring together the community
• Produce cultural festivals and events in Mexico
• Host workshops in dance and drumming

Objective #2 -- Create an Exchange of Traditional Artists Between Mexico and the United States

• Continue to bring African traditional artists and create Local Community groups in San Diego and Mexico
• Continue to bring Son Jarocho music from our sister cultural center in Varacruz to the WorldBeat Cultural Center in Balboa Park, San Diego
• Bring Mexica dancers from Mexico to San Diego to perform
• Bring World Music, Reggae and Jazz workshops and performances to Mexico

Objective #3 -- Enrich Culture Through Education

• Educate on the importance of Environmental Sustainability
• Collaborate between the Science Universities and the local community
• Teach indigenous languages and culture to the public
• Exhibit traditional art and culture
• Create a festival of films highlighting the Afro-Latino
• Create a student exchange program

Objective #4 -- Bring International Tourism

• Develop cultural tourism and eco-tours to Mexico
•  Work with International language schools in the USA to visit Baja California
• Collaborate with event planners and tourist agencies in the USA and internationally

Objective #5 -- Develop and Apply Cutting Edge Technologies

• Live stream activities and events to the world
• Host online workshops and classes
• Develop an interactive website
• Create a public video archive portal of traditional art and culture
